Singapore Bound: Tips Greatly Appreciated!

Hi, my little Unicorns!

I have been very busy for the past few weeks, and am acutely aware of my lack of bloggage. December is a HUGE months for competitions, with companies running Advent Calendar and 12 (or 24) Days of Christmas comps which, of course, are daily entry and extremely time-consuming. Needless to say, I have been comping my butt off!

Anyway, soon I will be bound for Singapore! YAY! I'm going on a Cruise with my family (but before you think of robbing me, someone will be looking after the house during our time away). LOL.

If you have been to Singapore (or know someone who has), I would LOVE to hear your tips! Please post below in the comments. I'm interested in anything about holidaying in Singapore, especially;

- MAKE-UP & SKINCARE; where to buy and what is cheap
- GENERAL SHOPPING; what the best shops are, etc
- TOURISTY THINGS; where the best places to go are
- INSIDER TIPS; anything you can pass on from your experiences

Thanks so much!

Wishing all my readers and fellow bloggers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Love you all and looking forward to blogging next year  xxx

  1. Ahh I already told you these I think

dont forget to take the sim card we won ha ha ha

taxi cabs are cheap and they act as cheap tourist guides so ask everything u can off them when u use one

whenever you buy something before you pay insist that the retailer gives you a slip of paper so you can claim the VATT tax when you go to the airport upon your departure- we didnt get it for all of them and got screwed! so keep all reciepts and that VATT tas thinggy to show them on your departure from Singapore

Sim Lim Square for cheap electronics but make sure they are region/ zone 4 that are compatible with aussie games LOL

The food is great at the bottom of Sim Lim Square

I never went but Mustafas is great too- I think for electronics but other stuff too

get a singapore sling at the raffles hotel (u already knew that hey??)

dont open your mouth in the shower as they use recycled water- you can feel it on your skin so thats a beauty treatment for you he he he

there is a sound and laser show somewhere its supposed to be great....

15 ML of phernergan on the plane for little Zaccy- it put them to sleep ha ha ha- lie him in the footwell and you guys can sleep!

dont forget to ask for those hot towels as they are allowed to give them anytime on the plane not just on the decent

steal the santiary napkins (um sorry for being rude) from in the plane toilet (look in all the nooks crannies and drawers) cause they are so better than the aussie ones I stole so many and have some in my car from 2006 when we went!

anything else you know where I am xoxoxo

  3. Too along ago since I went to Singapore to give any valid tips I'm afraid. Although I had my first escargot at Raffles which were delicious. Have a wonderful trip and I look forward to hearing about it when you return in the new Year.
    Best Christmas wishes too.
