Priceline 40% Off Cosmetics Haul!

I don't even know where to begin with this. I had a rough wish list in my iPhone Notes and I got everything on that wish list and then some. LOL. Actually the only thing I didn't get were a few Bourjois Lip Velvets in shades other than the two I own, but after dropping an astonishing $160 (say WHAT?) I exited the store with my tail between my legs in shock and immediately forget about those lip velvets. I actually stopped and checked my receipt, for surely they had made a mistake, but no, everything was indeed discounted, I just vastly underestimated what my total would come to. 40% off is pretty much 50% off when you're as bad at maths as I, so I was just halving everything. Then I got sick of doing that and just stopped adding shit up in favour of putting pretty makeup in my basket, haha. Anyway, I was actually mortified that I spent $160 and felt sick for a good ten minutes afterwards. (During those ten minutes I went to the newsagent and dropped $10 on the latest Elle Magazine to get the free Benefit GWP, lol). Whilst at Priceline I also bought a few things for an upcoming Giveaway but I'm not posting them here, because I don't want to spoil the surprise!

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel (244 Mauve-olous) ~ had to have it.
Essence Ultra Strong Nail Hardener Treatment (not pictured, oops) ~ cheap as chips and my nails need it.

LIPS
Natio Lip Colour (Flame) ~ I don't know why I got this, my mind was glazed over at this point.
Essence Lipliner (Honey Berry) ~ these are so cheap and so good!

NYX Intense Butter Gloss 3 Piece Set (Pink Macaroon, Summer Fruit, Cherry Custard) ~ love these and had to add to my collection. So happy to see a trio pack!

My Priceline 40% Off Cosmetics Haul + Skincare Goody Bag!

Wednesday and Thursday this week Priceline held their 40% Off Cosmetics sale, and, well, what better time to buy a bunch of makeup than during a makeup clean-out and declutter? It's not like I'm trying to downsize my collection or anything. The thing with these sales is, they are pretty hard to resist. My idea was to mainly just buy my staple products, because I would have had to buy these anyway, so why not be smart and stock up while they are nearly half price? But I did pick up a few sneaky unplanned purchases. Luckily I went on the second day of the sale and the masses had swooped in and cleaned out the best lipstick shades. I'm kind of glad! The fact that my entire haul fitted into a small paper bag instead of the usual large plastic one is a testament to my restraint. Here's what I got.....

Melbourne Haul Pt 1: Target, Myer, MAC, Lush + Jewellery!

Hello! As you may know I recently went to Melbourne for the weekend to shop, relax and for some 'me' time! Well, shop I did! So much so, that I'm splitting my Haul posts into Parts. This is Part One, which will include what I bought from Lush, Target, MAC, Myer, Colette, Lovisa and H&M. Part Two will contain my Sephora and Mecca Maxima hauls, although I may even split that again and do those ones separately, given the amount I bought! I'm so happy with everything I got. I went in with the purpose of buying bath bombs for the hotel room, and did manage to use The Experimenter and the Melting Marshmallow Oil during my trip. Check out this video I made of The Experimenter exploding in the bath! You guys know I love a free sample, but I swear I didn't even request Beautiful and Sesame Lotion, the Sales Assistant just included them!

Disappointingly, The Balm and Sleek displays were practically empty, and Target had a sign up saying how popular these brands were, and that they were selling out super-fast. Well, duh! Luckily I managed to grab most things off my list, although they were clean out of The Balm Meet Matte Hughes liquid lippies and some of the NYX shades I was after.

I didn't plan on getting any of the above but Myer were having a sale! I'm in desperate need of makeup brushes, so I couldn't resist the Revlon eyeshadow brushes and the Revlon Gift Set obviously looks like it was a Gift With Purchase that they marked down to clear out. I loved the contents and for $35, it was great value for money!

I like the red 50% Off stickers most of all!

Um, half price jewellery, yes please! These items were inexpensive to begin with, so seeing the red 50% Off sticker is extra exciting. The only thing I paid full price for was the biggest pack of stud earrings, and that only came to $10 anyway. Score!

Wow, I didn't realise I'd bought so many rings until I just typed that out! Again, everything was marked down, either 3 for $12, $2 or $4. How can you go wrong?

This place was packed and the lines for the Fitting Rooms and the checkout were nuts. I also got two pairs of pants for $5 and $10 in the sale section and two tops (only $15 each), not pictured, because I forgot to. I was too mesmerized by all the sparkly jewellery! Fun Fact - I still don't know what 'H&M' stands for!
