REVIEW: Scholl Express Pedi Electronic Foot File
I was sent the Scholl Express Pedi Electronic Foot File to review for BeautyHeaven, so I thought I'd share my thoughts here, too.
Packaging
The product comes in a hard plastic casing, and I must admit, I found it quite difficult to get it out! This is easily forgiven, since it's the only negative I could come up with.
Batteries ARE Included!
Say what? Yes, the batteries were already in the product, making it pretty much ready to use. This saves me time, effort and hassle. Good one, Scholl!
Design and Aesthetics
The design is erganomic; the handle is just the right size, and is easy to hold onto, fitting comfortably into the hand. The silver on/off switch is easily manipulated and clearly marked, and all this makes for a simple-to-use product. The light blue/aqua and white colouring is aesthetically-pleasing. This is not a tool you need to hide away because it looks ugly. You could easily leave this pretty pedi out in your bathroom without worrying what visitors might think.
Efficiency and Results
I love that Express Pedi indeed lives up to its name; it's fast, effective and efficient. Unlike pumice stones or other manual foot files, where you have to slave away for what seems like forever, the electronic foot file does all the work for you! Once switched on, the file spins quite fast, and you simply move it onto areas of dry or hardened skin to slough it away. No hard work required! It doesn't take long at all to see results, even after the first use. My feet were left soft, smooth and silky to the touch. I really wasn't use to this feeling on my feet, so I kept touching them in amazement!
Summary
I LOVE the Scholl Express Pedi Electronic Foot File! I love how quick and easy it is and I love the results it gives me. With the weather warming up, this is perfect to ready my feet for thongs and sandals. I'd recommend this product, especially if you think there's nothing you can do about dry, hard, built-up skin on your feet. Hope is in sight!

September Favourites!
I'm loving so many products at the moment! Here are five of them .....
The Body Shop Eye Palette in Smoky Copper
This is a sturdy, well-designed flip-lid palette with a large mirror and four gorgeous shades that deliver. I'm a sucker for shimmery bronze hues, and this palette houses four highly wearable colours. The lightest can be used for highlighting, the next one for all over the lid, then the coppery shimmer for the socket and the darkest brown for the outer edges. I'm getting so much use out of this, it's really become my go-to palette. Ultra-flattering, great-wearing and gorgeous coppery bronzes and browns. LOVE!
Clinique Powder Blush in Iced Lotus
I used this every day for a long time until recently, when I graduated to a coral blush from BYS (which I'm loving). It's a highly pigmented very light pretty pink with a shimmer that I'm almost certain came in a Gift With Purchase (GWP), because I never buy individual blushes from Clinique. I think I'll start using this as an eyeshadow, just so that I don't use The Body Shop palette every single day.
Dermalogica SkinPerfect Primer
This is a sample size I received from Ry as part of a bunch of review products, and you can read my initial thoughts here. The more I use this product, the more I fall in love with it. It really is one of the best Dermalogica products I've ever used (right up there with the Daily Microfoliant). It smooths the surface of my skin and provides a great base for makeup as well as mattifying and extending the wear of my foundation and/or concealer.
Innoxa Antioxidant Lip Glaze in Tangerine
This was given to me by a friend, and it has become a firm favourite of mine. This is saying a lot, because I will always prefer lipstick over lip gloss, and generally dislike the way gloss, or glaze in this case, makes my lips feel. However, the Innoxa glaze is light on the lips, non-sticky and a beautiful consistency. The tangerine colour is subtle and pretty and the fragrance reminds me of vanilla cupcakes! Also, I've been putting some on during my makeup application and by the time I'm ready for lipstick, it actually seems to have plumped my pout, leaving my lips luscious and healthy looking. Sometimes I even leave it on and forego the lippy, although this is really hard given my fondness for lipstick!
NAT Agebloc Eye Cream
I received this product to trial from Facial Co. and was expecting big things when I read that it's to be used as an alternative to Botox injections! (No, I've never tried Botox, but we all know the effects that has!). Anyway, I was very pleasantly surprised when I massaged this white cream in and saw how smooth and tightened my under-eye area was. I have a few fine lines in this area, but NAT Agebloc reduces them significantly, pretty much to the point where I can barely notice them. I haven't had this kind of success with any other wrinkle treatment cream, so will definitely be buying a tube of this once I've finished my current one. Another plus is that it absorbs quickly and can be worn under makeup. Nothing worse than finding an awesome eye cream that makes you look younger but rubs off as soon as you dab your concealer on!

Happy Birthday Haul!
My wonderful husband spoiled me with a surprise weekend trip to Brisbane for my Birthday last month and front row seats to Grease the musical! It was totally amazing and I had the best Birthday ever! We also checked out the Treasury Casino and did some shopping. I bought all this for myself, so it's my Happy Birthday Haul!
I forgot to include my MAC lippie in the haul photo, so here it is on its own....
Complete Haul:
PULP FICTION bluray
HIGH FIDELITY bluray
CRAZY, STUPID, LOVE bluray
White Unicorn
T2 All Sorts One assorted 10 pack
LUSH Bohemian Soap
LUSH Sultana of Soap
LUSH Sea Vegetable Soap
Reflected Deer Archer Case
Rimmel Apocalips Nova
Rimmel Apocalips Celestial
Rimmel Apocalips Solstice
MAC Matte lipstick Russian Red
Above: some of my favourite movies!
Above: OMG, I die! Could this unicorn be any cuter? I'm calling him Max (of course).
Above: I'm new to tea, so I thought an assorted pack would be a good starting point.
Above: I managed to pick three Lush soaps I haven't tried before. Sultana of Soap is creamy, luxurious and smells lovely (haven't tried the others yet).
Above: Seriously, I could buy everything in Typo. I had to have this gorgeous pencilcase!
Above: Finally got myself some Apocalips lip lacquers. Very annoyed at Priceline for sealing them with sticky-tape, which took AGES to get off, came off in tiny pieces and left the tubes damaged. I've even washed them in warm water to try removing the sticky residue, to no avail. Epic Fail, Priceline :(
Above: Woo Hoo, MAC Russian Red. This is nuts good. LOVE!
Above: Cute paper the LUSH soaps were wrapped in!
