I let my eight year old play with my makeup yesterday. Here's how the afternoon unfolded!

When was the last time you painted your face? And I mean painted, not applied your everyday makeup. LOL
LOL - what fun and so creative. Love the colour combo's! :-)
ReplyDeleteHehe! Yes, was fun and we used up some of my otherwise-unusable blue lippie :)
DeleteOh what fun. Love that blue!
ReplyDeleteThe perfect Smurf Blue, right?
DeleteHaha this is too cute!!!! Kids and makeup it always turn into something fun and creative!!!

Haha, yes! It was good for something! xx
DeleteLOL this reminded me of when I was a kid and my cousins came over. Our fave thing to do was to do our makeup like the members of Kiss!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like good times! :)
DeleteSo avant garde! I love it! I used to sneak using my sisters mascara on my eyebrows of all places :P

Haha! Can't improve your eyebrows though Kate, they're fab. :)
Deletehahah love! great way to have fun and use up any products/colours you wouldnt usually wear :D
ReplyDeletePam xo/ Pam Scalfi♥
Yes! Like the blue lipstick for example LOLOL :) x
DeleteLooks like a whole lot of fun and reminds me of a time I let my then 3 year old do my makeup.
ReplyDeleteHow cute! Yeah this took me back to my childhood :)
DeleteYou both look so good DI - I mean it, that expression of total satisfaction at a job well done in the last pic says it all, and your son is a camera natural ♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteAah thanks Kats! Zach is so photogenic isn't he? I hate being in photos, but had to capture this mother and son moment :) xx
DeleteLooks like you both had fun and what a wonderful memory to have created with your son!
ReplyDeleteMy kids always refused to have their face painted at parties etc let alone do it themselves! Much as I tried to encourage them to be face painted as a tiger or Spider-Man or fairy they always refused! :(
Oh no, that sucks! I have about a thousand photos of Zach as a tiger lol. He absolutely loves getting his face painted. At least you haven't had to remove it, as it does take some effort!
DeleteSo you found a use for that hideous neon blue lippy after all!
ReplyDeleteI last painted my face years ago for a circus-themed fancy dress Christmas party. I went as a mime & painted my face white (+ wore red lipstick & drew on black eyebrows with eyeliner), except I didn't quite do it right & had white paint peeling off my face throughout the night lol. Oops...
Haha! And yeah, I did find a use for the horrible blue lipstick, thanks for remembering! :D
DeleteSo cute! Glad you guys had fun :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! It was great fun (I may have had more fun than my son, lol).
Deleteso much fun! I did this with my daughter for halloween we went crazy painting LOL
ReplyDeleteThat sounds awesome! It's great when we can join in with the kids fun :)
