I'm pretty impressed with my latest manicure, especially since I was making it up as I went along!
I started with one coat of Revlon Black Lingerie 919 all over the entire nail, then waited for this layer to completely dry. I then used Face of Australia Gold (from their Molten Metallics collection) on the tips of my nails, in a deliberate haphazard pattern, then waited for that to dry, too. Finally, I used BYS Gold Glitter nail enamel over the entire nail. This is a clear varnish containing different sized gold flecks It's so pretty! However the gold particles are not terribly dense, so it took a while to apply the enamel so that enough gold flecks were showing over the black section. I call this my Black and GoldFlecked Manicure!
