Rexona Women Clinical Protection Anti-Perspirant Deodorant Review
Rexona say: The product is "formulated with revolutionary TRIsolid body responsive technology which contains three important components:
* Clinical strength wetness and odour protection
* Patented encapsulated odour-fighting technology
* skin moisturising ingredient, formulated to reduce skin irritation"
I've been trialling Rexona Clinical Protection Deodorant for a few weeks and I really like it. There are a few unusual features that make this product unique.
It's a cream!
This is quite weird at first, if you are used to sprays or roll-ons! The directions say to apply two clicks, but I did find myself applying about four, to get a good consistency and for ease of application.
48 Hour Protection
I haven't heard of that before! A lofty claim, but I actually did get great results, and even though it was hard to go 48 hours without reapplying, I did, and I wasn't smelling by the end of it. For some reason, the words 'Clinical Protection' made me feel safe. I'm sure this is highly psychological, and many tests were carried out before releasing this product to select the perfect words for maximum sales.
Apply before bed
For best results, Rexona advise to apply the cream to your underarns before bed, as the TRIsolid formula acclimates to your body as you sleep forming a deep layer of protection (err, ok!). This protection lasts through your shower and through the next day. How bizarre! But yes, it did work. I was confused as to whether or not to wash under my arms in the shower, though!
The fragrance is lovely and the results were pleasing. I'm pretty sure I didn't stink once during this trial! For me, the only negative is that at $13.99 (for 45 mls) it's a bit expensive. I don't think I'd use this as my everyday deodorant, but instead, have one on hand for times when it's extra important that I don't have BO. :)
** This product was provided for consideration. This review is my honest opinion.**
