The Body Shop Haul No. 2: Sweet Lemons!

Once again, I couldn't resist ordering a few things from The Body Shop's online Last Chance Clearance, and my love of lemony things became evident..... to myself. And despite the high level of haulage that's been happening lately, I didn't even feel guilty about it. You can check out my last The Body Shop haul here. I might just add, EXTREME SAVINGS were made, like a Hand Caddy for $15 (normally $39.95) and a Lemon Bliss Box for $13 (normally $47.90). What the????

Half Baked. OK, Fully Baked (Out)!

I've been a tad busy lately. My son turned 5 last week, so I've been baking my arse off, with mixed success. I'm thrilled to bits his Angry Bird Birthday Cake turned out so well. Of course I made it for his Birthday early in the week, so I couldn't even show it off at his actual Party on Saturday! No, instead the guests got to sample my Chocolate Marshmallow Old Lady Wrinkly Skin Fudge (looks foul, but actually tasted OK, although was very melty and hard to move onto a serving plate) and Collapsy Chocolate Crackles (fell apart upon contact with fingers). I also made Coconut Balls with Drizzed White Chocolate and Blue Sprinkles (not pictured). At least my Vanilla Mars Bar Cupcakes and Chocolate Cherry Ripe Cupcakes were good!

Angry Bird Birthday Cake!

Chocolate Marshmallow Old Lady Wrinkly Skin Fudge. LOL.

Bird On Fire! I'd be Angry too!

Happy 5th Birthday to my gorgeous little dude! xxx

Accidental Beauty Haul. Seriously!

This teeny, tiny haul was completely accidental, because I was only supposed to get a new MasterLiner to replace the one that I just finished. However, I spied with my little eye something beginning with D. Can you guess? DISCOUNT BIN, of course! Chock-a-block with Natio products. Seriously, I can't believe how well-behaved my son was as I trawled through, checking lipstick colours of anything that wasn't sealed. So that explains the Natio gloss and lippie for $7.48 and $7.98 respectively. I also couldn't resist the Maybelline Dark Circles Eraser, just because I'm obsessed with dark circle concealers, the product exists and I hadn't tried it yet.

We then wandered from ChemMart to Coles. My favourite Olay Cleanser was $3.00 off, so I HTB (Had To Buy). And although I'm a complete slut for concealers and own at least 15 varieties, I am well aware of my foundation deficiency, so I thought I'd give the Rimmel Stay Matte a go. If it's shit, I'll just wear it around the house.

Total Damage:
Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation in Ivory
Natio Mineral Lip Gloss in Lily
Maybelline MasterLiner in Black
Maybelline Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer
Olay Total Effects Cream Cleanser (Blemish Prone/Oily Skin)
Natio Lip Glow No. 5

August Empties: Because I Can-Can!

I should say Can-Can-Can-Can, because that's how many cans feature in this Empties post. Way too many, making it boring as bat-shit. So I photographed them on one of my son's painting, to BRIGHTEN the whole thing up. I hope I finish something exciting this month!

Nivea Pearl & Beauty Anti-Perspirant Deodorant
Death by excessive Nivea fumes. Will not repurchase.

Herbal Essences Tousle Me Softly Conditioner
(with a 'fusion of Wild Violet & Pomegranate'). LOVE this and will buy it again when it goes on special, because I'm cheap like that. This smells divine and leaves my hair soft, smooth and relatively untangled.

Lancome Genifique Youth Activator
Possibly the only free sample that has been brilliant enough to make me want to purchase the whole product. Ever. Because I'm cheap and not easily swayed. I used this every day under my moisturiser and I swear I could see my skin get younger looking. Lancome have recently dropped their prices on this range too, so I might have to bite the bullet. But you know I'll try to win one first :)

Nivea Double Effect Anti-Perspirant
This contains Avocado Extract for smoother underarms, but I never noticed a difference. Will not repurchase.

Toni & Guy Cleanse Dry Shampoo
I'm shocked that I'm starting to go off this! I'm pretty sure I recently blogged this as a favourite. What a psycho I am. Either my hair is becoming increasingly difficult to refresh between washes, or this stuff is not working as well as other dry shampoos like Batiste and Klorane, which I think I'll buy next, instead of T&G Cleanse.

Schwarzkopf Extra Care Super Styling Lacquer
Y'all know this is my favourite hairspray ever. I've harped on about it enough before. A staple product for me.
