Priceline Skincare GWP Bag + Haul

Hi guys! I couldn't resist the latest Priceline Skincare Gift With Purchase (GWP) Bag, mostly because it looked quite good, but also because I needed to pick up some new skincare bits and pieces anyway, so what better time than when it's on special and comes with a bunch of freebies!

Here's what I bought for my qualifying purchase:

~ Skin Physics Dragon's Blood Ultra Plumping Night Cream (50ml)
~ Olay Ultimate Eye Cream (15ml)
~ Olay Regenerist Detoxifying Pore Scrub Cleanser (150ml)
~ Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water Cleanser (500ml)
~ La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel (15ml) (Freebie provided with my order)

Thoughts!

First of all, I'm disappointed with the Olay Ultimate Eye Cream. I specifically wanted something hydrating for under my eyes, but this is too drying and provides almost a mattifying finish meaning applying makeup over the top is difficult. You want concealer to glide and blend not get stuck because of a dry base! I haven't tried the Olay Pore Scrub Cleanser yet, so hopefully that redeems the Olay brand for me!

I'm enjoying the Skin Physics Dragon's Blood Ultra Plumping Night Cream. I got this because I use to use it years ago and loved it, but it's too expensive to buy on the regular so I kind of forgot about it. But I think it was 40% off so I snapped up a jar!

The Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Water is probably my favourite micellar water ever. I get the sensitive skin one with the pink lid and it never irritates my eyes when removing eye makeup. I love this, but only get it when it's on special, otherwise I use my trusty Garnier Micellar Water wipes.

Another thing I'm loving is the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel which was included free in my order. I'm really impressed with this and may even purchase it in the future.

Now let's look at the contents of the free GWP Bag!

~ Dr Lewinn's Ultra R4 Collagen Surge Plumping Gel (30g)
~ Sukin Skin Relief Body Wash (50ml)
~ Clear Skincare Gel Cleanser (125ml)
~ Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Night Moisturiser (8g)
~ AHC Essential Real Eye Cream For Face (10ml)
~ Skin Physics Vitamin C Hydrating Velvet Mask (1 mask)
~ La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo +M Triple Corrective Care (15ml)
~ Dr PawPaw Lip Balm (8ml)
~ Embryolisse Multi-Function Nourishing Moisturiser (5ml)
~ Bioderma Sensibio Defensive Serum (4ml)
~ CeraVe Facial Moisturising Lotion (3ml)
~ Epzen AHA Exfoliating Body Wash (sachet)
~ Cancer Council Hydrating Serum SPF50+ (sachet)
~ Frank Body Every Day Hydrating Face Wash (sachet)
~ Avene Hydrance Boost Concentrated Hydrating Serum (sachet)
~ and of course, the bag itself!

Thoughts!

Firstly, the navy blue bag with gold zips and purple inner lining is really lovely and a great size for travel, I'm loving it! I'm also really happy with the full size Collagen Surge Plumping Gel from Dr Lewinn's as I was considering this for my qualifying spend. It consists of little pink pearls (which may be a gimmick but I find it fun!). I haven't tried anything from Clear before so I'm keen to try the gel cleanser. Sukin I don't really like as a brand, but at least it's just a body wash and not a facial product. I'm also interested in the Olay night moisturiser with retinol, let's see how I go with that. I'm always happy to try anything from Bioderma and La Roche-Posay as they are two brands I love. CeraVe and Embryolisse are two brands I haven't tried before, so that will be a new experience. The Dr PawPaw Lip Balm I will probably give to my son as I won a huge Carmex lip balm pack and I honestly have enough lip balms to last me for years. All the sachets are great for single use, one use and done. And in a very happy coincidence, included is an AHC Essential Real Eye Cream For Face which I got in the Amazon Advent Beauty Calendar and absolutely adore! I was looking to buy another one and now I don't have to. Yay!

Overall, this was definitely worth getting for me, and I'm so glad I did!

Priceline Haul!

Hi guys! So I might have done a spur of the moment Priceline Haul last week! I had wanted to try some different volume hair products, and then I saw the Priceline email advertising half price haircare plus double points for one day only, so I took it as a sign and put in an order, lol. How good are sales? I'm so happy with the amount I saved.

Here's what I got!

HASK Biotin Boost Thickening Shampoo (RRP $17, bought for $8.50)
This is my holy grail shampoo and the only one I ever buy. I usually like to wait until it goes on special though, because it's quite pricey. Yes I consider $17 pricey for a shampoo! I love the results I get and that one shampoo gets all the product out. Before I discovered this thickening shampoo I was using a clarifying shampoo followed by a volumizing shampoo, but no need for two washes with this one.

HASK Biotin Dry Shampoo (RRP $12, bought for $6)
Because I love the HASK Biotin shampoo and conditioner it makes sense to try out the dry shampoo from the range, especially since it's half price. It contains biotin for volume, collagen to fortify and coffee to help boost, which I'm hoping together give a nice plumping, volumizing lift from the roots. I'm an absolute dry shampoo fiend, so it was inevitable that I'd try this eventually.

HASK Biotin Boost Thickening 5-in-1 Leave In Spray (RRP $17, bought for $8.50)
Can you tell I'm a fan of HASK? I'm so keen to try this one as I was looking for a product I could spray in that would give my hair some body and va-va-voom action! Let's hope this does the trick. It's actually crazy how many volume hair products I use, basically every product I own is designed to create body in some way or another. That's how fine my hair is!

John Frieda Volume Lift Thickening Spray (RRP $20.99 bought for $10.49)
John Frieda products have failed me in the past, but I'm going to give them another go with this volume lift thickening spray. Surely one of these products has to work, right? There was no way I was paying full price for something I'm iffy on, so a half price sale is the perfect time to try it out. It was either this or the JF Volume Lift Fine To Full Blow Out Spray Styler but that had a bad review so I went with the thickening spray. Wish me luck!

Thin Lizzy Age Reverse Undereye Treatment Concealer (RRP $34.99, bought for $20.99)
I thought I paid full price for this on Sunday (I know I paid $20.99) but Priceline now have Thin Lizzy products at 40% off and the RRP is listed as $34.99, so I must be wrong? How confusing. Anyway I love my Thin Lizzy Concealer Creme, it really covers everything, so I wanted to give this undereye treatment concealer a go. I got the shade Enchanted Rose.

I hope you enjoyed my haul! Have a great week, guys!

Priceline Skincare Gift Bag!

Hi guys! I caved and got the Priceline Skincare Gift Bag deal again. I honestly cannot resist this every time it comes around, even though I don't need any of the skincare inside the bag lol! This time you qualified by spending at least $69 in-store or online on skincare, suncare or tanning across participating brands and in return you could pick up the free skincare bag valued at over $170. This offer was valid between the 25th of October and the 6th of November, so it's already over but I wanted to let you guys know what was inside anyway, so you get a good idea of contents for when Priceline do the next Skincare Gift Bag Gift With Purchase.

The participating brands included a lot of my favourites which really helped, including Dr LeWinns, La Roche-Posay, Skin Republic, Skin Physics, Antipodes and Olay.

First up is my qualifying spend, and anyone would think I have an eye mask fetish? I decided to go bat shit cray cray on the eye masks and get one of everything pretty much! I also used the opportunity to buy a back up of my favourite Antipodes serum, which was discounted. The good thing about these deals is that the participating brands are usually all on sale, so you're saving money and getting your freebie! I got.....

Qualifying Spend
~ Antipodes Hosanna H2O Intensive Skin Plumping Serum
~ A'kin Rose Mist Toner
~ 2 x Skin Republic 24K Gold Aquagel Under Eye Patch
~ Skin Republic Brightening Eye Mask
~ Skin Republic Collagen Hydrogel Under Eye Patch
~ Skin Republic Fast Fix 5 Minute Under Eye Mask
~ Skin Republic Retinol Hydrogel Under Eye Patch

Now onto the actual bag contents. Sometimes I'm a bit disappointed when I look through the contents, but every time I reached in and pulled out a product, I was like 'YES, I can use that'! I'm really impressed with this selection of skincare goodies and am so happy I got the bag. Here's what was inside....

Bag Contents
~ Swisse Micellar Makeup Remover (300ml)
~ Sukin Blemish Control Clearing Facial Wash (125ml)
~ La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water Sensitive Skin (50ml)
~ Andalou Naturals Coconut Milk Youth Firm Night Cream (50g)
~ Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Face & Body Dry Touch Sunscreen Lotion (88ml)
~ Blessed By Nature Purifying Cleansing Wipes (25 wipes)
~ Olay Total Effects Whip Active Moisturiser (10g)
~ The Jojoba Company Australian Jojoba For Face (15ml)
~ Antipodes Vanilla Pod Hydrating Day Cream (15ml)

~ Skin Physics Oxygen-C Hydrating Velvet Mask (40g)
~ A'kin Australian Tea Tree Oil Detoxifying Face Sheet Mask (20ml)

~ Derma-E Vitamin Concentrated Serum (7ml)
~ Avene Broad Spectrum Sunscreen (5ml)
~ Bondi Sands Coconut Beach Sunscreen Lotion (35ml)
~ Burts Bees Coconut & Pear Moisturizing Lip Balm (4.25g)

Overall this is a great bag in my opinion, especially with the weather warming up! Plenty of sunscreen, a lip balm, wipes and micellar water which I constantly use plus some interesting face masks and various creams. Well done, Priceline!

Priceline Pink Diamond Gift Box!

Hi guys! In super exciting news, I was rewarded with my first ever Priceline Pink Diamond gift box recently! In terrible beauty blogger news, I'd actually never heard of it, so got the surprise of my life when I received an email telling me I was eligible and to go in-store to pick one up!

A quick look at the Priceline website informed me Sister Club members are eligible for the Pink Diamond box when they earn at least 400 points per quarter. Now what we are all waiting for.... let's look at what I got in my box!

Contents
Hask Argan Oil Repairing Shampoo (100ml)
Hask Argan Oil Repairing Conditioner (100ml)
Revlon Super Lustrous Matte Lipstick in Show Stopper
La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL Ultra-Light Fluid SPF 50+ (3ml)
Aus Medic Co Phyto-Nutrient Face Mask (10g)
Calvin Klein Women fragrance sample (1.2ml)
Aussie Bodies Lo Carb Whip'd Protein Bar in Chocolate (60g)

I think this is a great box! First of all, the contents are substantial in size and generous. I love Hask hair oils, so I'm excited to try the repairing shampoo and conditioner and love that they are a good size, as I'll get quite a few uses out of them. Some Pink Diamond boxes contained the Monoi Coconut products instead of the Repairing ones. Although matte isn't my first choice for lipstick formula, the fact that Priceline included a full size Revlon lipstick must be commended. It's a beautiful classic red shade, too.

The little sunscreen from La Roche-Posay (a brand I love) will certainly come in handy now that the weather is heating up. I'm keen to try the Aus Medic Co face mask, although this is the first time I've heard of the brand! It contains papaya enzymes and algae extract to help soften and break down the skin's outer layer for a deep pore cleanse. Interesting!

The Calvin Klein 'Women' fragrance is really lovely (and incidentally the first thing I tried when I opened the box). The scent is composed of orange flower petals and fresh eucalyptus acorns. Some Pink Diamond boxes contained a Juicy Couture sample in place of this. At the counter I was asked if I'd like a chocolate or choc mint protein bar. I opted for chocolate. This is the only proper choice you get to make, the other ones it's just the luck of the draw as to what options you get in your box!

Like the Mecca Beauty Loop boxes, there's also a little info card inside, detailing the products selected for the box. Overall, I'm really happy with the Pink Diamond Box. Thanks Priceline!

Priceline Skincare Bag Gift With Purchase!

Hi guys! Lately it seems like Priceline are always running some offer or another, so today I'm featuring their current Skincare Bag deal. If you spend $69 or more in-store or online on skincare or suncare across participating brands, you get a FREE Skincare Gift Bag valued at over $200! This offer started on April 26th and runs until May 9, or until stocks run out. I only picked this up on April 2, and there were a fair few bags left in the Myer Centre, Adelaide store, but this will of course vary depending on your state and the store you visit. If you're interested in this Bag, I'd say head in-store toot sweet, before they run out.

The participating brands, in case you want to plan your haul, are: Kotia, Olay, MooGoo, Dr LeWinns, 7th Heaven, Garnier, Skin Physics, Neutrogena, The Base Collective, La Roche-Posay, Palmers, Sukin, Simple and Clear Skincare.

Pictured above is everything I bought to qualify for this offer. Usually the brands you get to select from are also on special, which makes it even harder to reach $69, haha. I got a bottle of Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water because I'd nearly run out, then saw the Garnier Purifying Botanical Toner with Green Tea, which sounded calming, so I decided to try it. I needed more scrub so picked up the Garnier Pure Active Daily Pore Scrub Wash. I use wipes like nobody's business, and thus couldn't go past the Simple Micellar Cleansing Wipes double pack, and also picked up the Simple Regeneration Age Resisting Cleansing Wipes to try. I needed a new moisturiser since I've nearly finished my Shiseido one, so I decided to try the Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Advanced Anti-Ageing Moisturiser. Then to reach the qualifying spend amount I needed a few dollars, so I got two Garnier Hydra Bomb Eye Tissue Masks, which were under $3 each.

OK, now let's look at everything you get in the Skincare Bag!

~ MooGoo Full Cream Moisturiser (120g)
~ Neutrogena Sheer Zinc Baby Dry-Touch Sunscreen SPF 50 (88ml)
~ Simple Anti-Blemish Moisturiser (75ml)
~ Sukin Foaming Facial Cleanser (125ml)
~ Olay Regenerist Whip Active Moisturiser (10g)
~ Neutrogena Youthful Boost Sleeping Mask (10ml)
~ La Roche-Posay Toleriane Mascara (4.5ml)
~ Garnier Skin Active Matcha + Kaolin Mask (8ml)
~ Dr LeWinn's Ultra R4 Restorative Day Cream (3g)
~ The Base Collective Magnesium Bath Salts (200g)
~ Palmer's Coconut Water Hydrating Sheet Mask (20ml)
~ 7th Heaven Charcoal + Black Sugar Peel Off Mask (10ml)
~ Kotia Hydrating Day Cream (5ml)
~ Kotia Brightening Eye Cream (3ml)
~ Skin Physics Dragon's Blood Soothing Gel Mask (17g) (unfortunately expired 23/07/18)
~ Voucher for $15 discount off a purchase from the Kotia range
~ Voucher for a Clear Skincare Express Microdermabrasion (valued at $59)

I think this is a great bag, especially if you are going to buy skincare anyway. I usually use the opportunity to stock up on my regular items, then add on a few newbies I'm keen to try to reach the qualifying spend. I'm a bit disappointed the Skin Physics Gel Mask expired last year and I'm not sure what to do about it! Do I take my receipt and try to swap it for a good one? I guess I should, right? Great news regarding the Clean Skincare Microdermabrasion too; they do have two locations in Adelaide! I was expecting their Clinics to be Melbourne and Sydney only, but was pleasantly surprised when I checked.

Priceline Gift With Purchase: Beauty Box!

Hi guys! In exciting news, Priceline currently have a Beauty Box Gift With Purchase promotion! If you spend at least $50 store-wide, you get to choose one of six beauty boxes for free! They each have a different funky design and different contents. This only started last Friday and runs through to the 11th of April (or while stocks last) and is exclusive to Sister Club Members, which I'm pretty sure we all are at this point, right? I totally reserve the right to spend another $50 before 11/4 and grab a different box (lol) because I was in a rush and didn't get much time to investigate the content of each. Let's take a look inside my Beauty Box!

What's In My Beauty Box?

~ Skin Physics Dragon's Blood Advanced Treatment Cleanser (150ml)
~ Scunci Soft Touch Jaw Clips (4 piece)
~ Trilogy Rosehip Transformation Cleansing Oil (10ml)

Overall I'm really impressed with the contents of this box, especially the full size Skin Physics Cleanser. I'm definitely going to take some time to check out the Priceline catalogue detailing what's in each box, in case I spend another 50 buckaroos in the not-too-distant future!

Priceline's 2018 Product Picks + SALE ALERT!

Hi guys! Happy New Year! I've enjoyed an extended break, having returned from my Cruise a few weeks ago. Now school has started for the year, I can get back into blogging, so here we go! First up, I was gifted a generous bundle of products from Priceline recently, and the theme was 'the Priceline PR Team's 2018 Product Picks'. I love this idea, because we are all time poor thesedays, so if a bunch of favourite products are recommended by those in the know, they are sure to be amazing, and well worth trying. Let's take a look!

*********************************
SALE ALERT! Priceline Pharmacy will be holding a massive SALE starting Thursday 31 January with 40 - 50% Off Suncare, Skincare and Tanning! So a lot of the products featured here will be greatly discounted, if anything takes your fancy. I've added in the sales prices below. This sale will end on Saturday 2 February. END SALE ALERT LOL!
*********************************

Gabby recommends: CINCH Face Cheat(er) Moisturising Cream + Glow and SOLINOTES Eau De Parfum.
Perfect for busy gals, the Cinch Face Cheat(er) is the ideal multi-tasker, as it moisturises, primes and refines pores. I love applying a product that can do it all; it cuts down my beauty routine which means more time for sleeping! This feels great and absorbs quickly too! (usually $39.99, now on sale for $23.99)
The SoliNotes perfumes are a revelation! I've recently discovered the Vanilla and Orange Blossom ones which work beautifully together. In this package I received the Rose one, which is absolutely divine (it helps that I'm a sucker for rose scents). This range is designed to either be worn alone or mixed and matched, so you can create your own unique scent. Gabby's faves are Rose, Vanilla and Musk.

Sophie recommends: MINETAN Color Create Foam, Color Create Base Tan Drops and Bronze On Applicator Mitt
Personally I'm not really into fake tanning, but if Sophie loves Minetan, it must be effective, as she's an avid fake tanner! This range features four different shade drops to choose from, so you can customise the clear based tan to your desired look. The soft velvet tanning mitt eliminates messy hands and facilitates a smooth, even, streak-free application. The express tan can be washed off after an hour if you desire or left on longer for a deeper tan. (Color Create Foam usually $29.99 now on sale for $17.99, Color Create Base Tan Drops 4 pk usually $14.99 now on sale for $8.99 and Applicator Mitt usually $7.99 now on sale for $4.79)

Nicolette recommends: ETHIQUE Shampoo and Conditioner Bars and KISS Blooming Lashes (Peony)
I received the Ethique Shampoo Bar in Pinkalicious. Ethique was the world's first zero waste beauty company, which is quite an accolade! This solid shampoo smells like pink grapefruit and vanilla and contains Samoan coconut and cocoa butter. I can't wait to try this!
The Kiss Blooming Lashes are quite unique in that they are multi-layered, so instead of a one-dimensional look, you get volume and va-va-voom! I've tried these babies out and although they are a little heavier than what I'm used to, they look amazing from all angles and are well worth persevering with. My pick: the KISS Lash Couture Strip Lash Adhesive in Black (sold separately) is seriously the best lash glue I've tried, while we're talking Kiss.

Geraldine recommends: THE BASE COLLECTIVE Magnesium Oil and GARNIER Pure Charcoal Tissue Mask with Black Algae
Geraldine loves using The Base Collective Magnesium Oil on her sore muscles after the gym, and I think she's onto something! I've tried spritzing the refreshing spray onto my calf muscles and lower back and I feel like the pain has lessened. Love the stylish packaging too! (Usually $20.99 now on sale for $12.59)
I am so bad at getting around to using my face masks, but this Garnier Pure Charcoal Tissue Mask with Black Algae has me intrigued. It's infused with charcoal and clears the skin by drawing out dirt, oil and impurities, leaving it soft and refreshed. I'm ready for a long overdue Sunday pamper session! (Usually $4.99 now on sale for $2.99)

Priceline 50% Off HairCare Haul

Hi guys! Super quick post today, just outlining what I got in the 50% Off HairCare Priceline Sale last week! My main goal with these sales is to stock up on my staple products, because there's no better time to buy them, but I have to say, I occasionally throw caution to the wind and use the opportunity to try something new. How do you shop the half price sales?

Products Bought
~ Schwarzkopf Super Styling Lacquer
~ 2 x Batiste XXL Volume Spray (could only fit one in the photo)!
~ Hair Recipe Strawberry & Mint Cleanse Shampoo
~ L'Oreal Elvive Fibralogy Thickening Shampoo
~ L'Oreal Preference Hair Colour in Light Rose Gold

The Schwarzkopf hairspray and Batiste volume sprays are both staples in my haircare routine, so I had to snap them up. I love using the Hair Recipe cleanse shampoo as a first shampoo to remove any built-up product, before going in with a volume shampoo. I've gone back to the Fibralogy thickening shampoo but I've got a horrible feeling it's being discontinued (which always happens with my favourite finds!). The reason I think this is because my quest to buy the accompanying L'Oreal Elvive Fibralogy Thickening Serum was quite a difficult one! Everywhere I looked didn't stock it and the other products from the Fibralogy range were getting low too. I eventually found one serum at a supermarket, but I don't like my chances of picking it up again. The two Pricelines I went to didn't have it, and their Fibralogy shampoo and conditioner stock was super low. And lastly, I bought a new Preference hair colour. My roots are dark at the moment, so I'm going to have to lighten everything up first or this just won't work. I'm interested to see what rose gold comes out like though!

Low Budget Makeup Haul!

Hi guys! For some reason I'm not as excited about buying new makeup lately, although I will always love applying makeup and wearing it. Even though new releases are not catching my attention, I still have to re-purchase back-ups of my staple makeup items, so here's a very budget friendly drugstore brand makeup haul, where the aim was to stock up on my every day eye makeup items. I also got some extra stuff I needed while I was there. Both Chemist Warehouse and Priceline were having sales, so everything here was at a bargain price!

Chemist Warehouse had 50% off Maybelline (yassss!) so I picked up my fave eyeliner, the Maybelline Masterliner in Black. This was $5.99, usually $12.50. I was going to get two of them, but then I saw the Maybelline boxed Kit for $7.00 which contained a Masterliner eyeliner,  Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara and Eyelash Curler! Just a dollar more and you get two bonus items... score!

I also spotted the Maybelline Master Precise Skinny eyeliner and Maybelline Brow Precise Micro Pencil, both of which I've never tried, but I thought at half price, now is the best time to give them a go! Also, it's really hard to get defined wings with the Masterliner as the end rounds out after a few uses, so hopefully the Skinny pencil comes in handy there.

I spent $26.37 at Chemist Warehouse and the receipt tells me I saved $38.53 (woo hoo!). At first I was like, whaaaaaa? because everything was 50% off, but then I saw the boxed Kit was originally $24.95, down to $7.00. Bitch can shop.

The eyebrow pencil I swear by, Ardell's Pro Brow Mechanical Pencil was actually on special (this rarely happens) at Priceline, so I obviously got two. Also, it's not stocked at my local Priceline and can be hard to find, so this was a no-brainer.

I can't find my makeup pencil sharpener at the moment and all my nude lipliners are super blunt, so instead of doing the normal thing and buying a new sharpener, I bought two new nude Essence Soft Contouring lipliners instead (Nude Painting and Lost In Love). Don't judge! Bargain buy recommendation alert! You can't go wrong with Essence lipliners; they perform well, the formula is great and they are only $2.00 each. Get on this, people! I also picked up an Essence Kajal eyeliner while I was perusing the Essence stand, because why not?

HAUL: Priceline 40% Off Makeup!

Hi guys! Another week, another haul it seems! And from Priceline again. Of course I'm referring to my last Priceline Haircare splurge, which you can read about in this post. I'm actually putting myself on a spending ban, because I also just dropped $100 on jewellery for an upcoming event, so I'm feeling a bit guilty. Anyhoo, let's see what I picked up in the recent makeup sale!

I picked up two Maybelline Masterliners (in black) as I use this eyeliner daily and go through them pretty quickly! I usually re-stock when they are half price, or 40% off in this case, which my maths-challenged brain pretty much equates to half price, because numbers.

Not pictured (oops!) is a Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Radiant Firming Makeup ~ this is my second bottle of this foundation, and obviously I love it or I wouldn't have repurchased! It looks really natural on, I love the finish and Creamy Ivory is such a good colour match for me.

I also picked up a Maybelline MasterCamo Color Correcting Pen in the shade Apricot, which is meant to hide dark circles.  I have yet to try this, but my fingers are crossed this will work well and not be drying under my eyes.

And now for the big one. I feel a bit weird that I bought the new Australis Kaleidoscope Eyeshadow Palette! God damn it, this just looked so fun. Don't judge me! I have not read a single review of this palette and I am a little scared to. Australis promise that these 12 shades, a combination of mattes and shimmers, provide great colour payoff and blend like a dream. We shall see!

HAUL: Priceline 50% Off Haircare!

Hi guys! I haven't blogged in nearly two weeks but I'm back! Truth be told, my March Movie Challenge damn near killed me! It took up so much time and I was sleep deprived to the max during March. Blog post on my results to come, but for now I want to share my haircare haul from last week's Priceline 50% off sale. I went in for one thing, dry shampoo, and came out with a bunch more! But when the total is only $29 and I saved myself a heap on products I'll definitely use, I'm not bothered. Let's see what I got!

Batiste Stylist XXL Volume Spray
I am so on the fence about this product! Batiste recently discontinued my favourite dry shampoo, their XXL Volume one, and replaced it with this. I really need a dry shampoo that will give my fine hair maximum volume; this does give great volume, but it's not a dry shampoo. It's apparently a 'backcomb spray' designed to 'oomph your locks'. However, the build-up from this spray is an absolute Bitch, and as a result I bought the....

Hair Recipe Strawberry & Mint Cleanse Shampoo
I put a call out on my Insta Stories for a great clarifying shampoo to combat product build up, and one helpful person (I can't recall who) suggested this fruity sounding baby. This is meant to 'detox your scalp and hair for a fresh clean feel' and I seriously hope it manages to get all the product out of my tresses, because it sucks to get out of the shower then notice your hair isn't properly clean. It was quite expensive, so I'm glad it was half price!

Schwarzkopf Extra Care Super Styling Lacquer
I love this stuff and buy it all the time! It's my go-to hairspray and basically never lets me down!

I've nearly finished this Hask Coconut Oil tube

Hask Argan Oil Healing Shine Hair Treatment
I was a bit bummed that Priceline had such a limited range of these little tubes of wonder to be honest! I've nearly finished my Coconut Oil one (pictured above) and really wanted to try a few different oils from the range, but had to settle on the Argan Oil variety. I'll see how I go with it!

Garnier Fructis Full & Luscious Shampoo
This contains volumising Fibra-cylane and Pomegranate and promises to thicken hair. I've been using shampoo and conditioner from my beauty cupboard for what seems like years, and haven't had to actually buy any new products, so I've actually forgotten which volumising shampoos I like! I'm going to have to start all over again trying them out lol. Fun times!

Dominate Fiber
This is a styling paste that gives a high hold textured look and thickens with caffeine and yes, it's for men! I didn't see that until I got home, as I was rushing in-store because the husband was waiting for me. I basically saw that this purports to provide a thickening boost, and would be ideal for scrunching a small amount into either the length of my hair or ponytail to hold a volumised wave style in place for longer. I've already tried this out and like it!

Priceline SkinCare Gift Bag!

Hi guys! Despite constant efforts to declutter the house and not add to my beauty stash, I was inexplicably drawn to the latest Priceline Skincare Gift Bag offer. I have been very good though, and haven't really hauled big or bought much other than staples for a fair while. And I've passed on quite a few of these Priceline GWP (Gift With Purchase) offers. So I didn't feel too guilty picking up this skincare bag, and I must say, I'm happy with my decision, for the contents are impressive! A little background info: you had to spend at least $69 on the participating skincare, suncare and tanning brands to qualify for the free Summer Skincare Gift Bag, valued at over $270. And unlike previous similar offers, this was only available for two days, October 26-27.

Here's (nearly!) everything I got in my Summer SkinCare Gift Bag. Note that I couldn't fit all the products into the photo below!

Summer SkinCare Gift Bag Contents:
~ Olay Regenerist Revitalising Thermal Mini-Peel Treatment
~ La Roche-Posay Serozinc
~ Sukin Super Greens Cleansing Oil
~ Neutrogena Wet Skin Kids Sunscreen Spray
~ Alpha Keri Anti-Cellulite Body Butter
~ Cancer Council Watersport Sunscreen
~ Le Tan Uber Dark Self Tanning Foam Marula Oil
~ Swisspers Coconut Oil Facial Wipes
~ L'Oreal Multi-Masking Play Kit
~ Garnier Hydra Bomb Tissue Mask
~ Bean Body Coffee Bean Scrub (Coconut)
~ Natio Ageless Rosehip Oil Cold Pressed
~ Nip + Fab Kale Fix Moisturiser
~ 2 x Antipodes Hosanna Skin-Plumping Serum
~ Formula 10.0.6 Pores Be Pure Skin-Clarifying Mud Mask
~ 7th Heaven Cucumber Peel-Off Mask
~ Dragon's Blood Collagen Eye Zone Mask
~ Models Prefer Lip Balm (Dreamer)
~ Model Co Tan Remover Exfoliating Soap
~ Chapstick Total Hydration Moisture + Tint (Rose Petal)
~ Burt's Bees Natural Lipstick (Scarlet Soaked)
~ Sun Bum Moisturising Lip Balm (Pink Grapefruit)

There are so many exciting products here I can't wait to try including the L'Oreal Multi-Masking Kit, L'Oreal Hydra Bomb Mask, La Roche-Posay Serozinc and the Antipodes Skin-Plumping Serum! The sunscreens will definitely get used with summer approaching and I'm intrigued by the Olay Mini-Peel Treatment, too! There are only a few products I won't use, and I'll  probably include them in an upcoming Giveaway. Overall, I'm super-impressed with the contents of this bag, it was definitely worth getting!

The main reason I did the bag offer was that a few of my beauty staples were from the participating brands. So I'd be buying my Garnier Micellar Water and Swisspers Cucumber Facial Wipes at some point anyway, I may as well use the opportunity to stock up and get a free bag of goodies at the same time. I was disappointed that the participating brands were selling at full price, however, because I'm pretty sure with these Priceline GWP offers the participating brands are usually discounted. Correct me if I'm wrong! I wanted to re-stock my staple Olay Total Effects moisturiser, but at $33 when I usually get it for around $20-24, it was a waste of money, and I was better off using my qualifying spend on something not quite so rip-offy, lol. So here's what I bought to qualify for the Gift Bag!

My Qualifying Purchase Beauty Haul:
~ Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
~ Garnier Micellar Cleansing Wipes
~ Swisspers Cucumber Refreshing Facial Cleansing Wipes
~ Swisspers Aloe Skin Perfecting Facial Cleansing Wipes
~ L'Oreal Pure Clay Anti-Blemish Mask
~ Formula 10.0.6 Cucumber + Sea Kelp Everyday Cleanser
~ 7th Heaven Dead Sea Mud Pac Mask
~ 7th Heaven Black Seaweed Peel-Off Deep Pore Mask

This lot came to $69.92, only 92 cents over the qualifying spend. What a pro! Hehe.

Birthday Beauty Haul!

Another quick post today because although most of this month's plethora of events have passed, we still have a Birthday dinner, a show and lots of house cleaning to go. Last weekend we had two kids Birthday parties on the same day. Mr 10 is more popular than I'll ever be! Also, apologies for not being able to return every blog comment right now. Things will be less busy in October, thank God! Anyway I wanted to show you my quite restrained recent beauty haul. Let's have a look, and I'll explain as I go!

Priceline + Chemist Warehouse Haul

I received $10 Birthday credit in my account from Priceline and a bonus voucher for $5 off in the Gawler Place store, because the Hindley Street Priceline is closing! So I thought I'd treat myself to roughly $15 worth of goodies from Priceline, without being out of pocket. This lot came to approximately $17 (not the foundation, that came from Chemist Warehouse), so I only had to hand over a few dollars!

Facial Wipes are something I'll always use given how lazy I am, and I thought these Burt's Bees Pink Grapefruit Facial Cleansing Towelettes looked like fun! I picked up the 7th Heaven Tea Tree Peel-Off Mask purely because I love the smell of tea tree and I hadn't tried it before. Next up; lip balm. I've finished about three lip balms lately (!!!) and needed a new one. I prefer a tube, however Carmex works wonders on me, so I was stoked to see a twin pack of Carmex Vanilla and Lime Twist Lip Balm in tubes. Perfect!

Please be good. PLEASE BE GOOD!

I also wanted to take advantage of the Chemist Warehouse 50% Off Makeup Sale. The brands going for half price were Maybelline, Revlon, Rimmel, L'Oreal and possibly more but I can't remember now! Anywho, I'm pretty upset that Revlon have changed the formula of Colorstay Foundation for Oily/Combination Skin as it was my go-to, everyday, Holy Grail (you get the idea) foundation. It now seems greasier and less pigmented, and in general, more sucky. It's disappointing, and as such I'm on the hunt for a new everyday foundation. So for 50% off, I picked up Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Radiant Firming Makeup in Creamy Ivory and L'Oreal Infallible Stay Fresh 24H Foundation in True Beige (which was a better shade match than the 'lighter' shade for some reason!). I'll see how I go with those!

Got all my bases covered as I try out the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Makeup!

Let me know if you've noticed a difference with Revlon Colorstay. I think they changed it a fair while back, but I had a stash of bottles so I haven't had to buy a new one in ages and have only just noticed the change. It's seriously killing me and I don't know what to do! I've even tried looking at various places in-store and online for old stock, but everyone just has the new formula.

What's your everyday foundation? Have you noticed that Revlon Colorstay just isn't the same anymore?
