Priceline are currently running their HairCare Gift Bag offer, and it's on until the 23rd of February, or while stocks last! Basically, if you spend at least $49 on any of the participating haircare brands (online or in-store), you get a free HairCare Gift Bag, filled with products worth over $260! Even better, all the participating brands are on sale, so you're saving while you buy as well.
Here are the participating haircare brands:
Essano ~ Batiste ~ Hask ~ Viviscal ~ Revlon ~ Anumi ~ Cedel ~ Colour Addict ~ OGX ~ Schwarzkopf ~ John Frieda ~ Biosilk ~ Pro:Voke ~ Garnier ~ L'Oreal ~ Pantene ~ Models Prefer ~ Scunci ~ Colab ~ Marc Anthony ~ Brite
I wasn't going to take up this offer (much like with their recent 40% Off Skincare sale; you can see what I bought in that promotion here lol) but once I saw Batiste was one of the participating brands, I knew I might as well, because I go through dry shampoo like a drag queen goes through false lashes. If I'm going to be buying it anyway, I might as well get it discounted and with a free gift bag of goodies!
Here's what I bought to qualify for the bag, and guys, I'm not entirely sure I got enough dry shampoo?
~ Schwarzkopf Super Styling Lacquer (Maximum Hold) 400g
~ Batiste Dry Shampoo XXL Volume 400ml
~ Batiste Dry Shampoo Plus Heavenly Volume 200ml (x 2)
~ Batiste Dry Shampoo Cherry 200ml
As for the Gift Bag, I didn't get time to check out the contents before my purchase, because I had Mr. 9 with me and he was bored beyond belief, so the best solution was to use him as a human calculator to reach my $49 (he loves maths, so this was a genius move on my part, haha) and hope that he didn't start complaining. So I was pleasantly surprised when I got home and saw the contents.
I feel as though this bag is geared towards blondes (which I am) with the Pro:Voke Touch of Silver Shampoo and Conditioner and the super-fun Schwarzkopf Live Colour Pastels in Cotton Candy Pink, perfect for blonde hair! Unfortunately my Brite Masque was Tea Tree + Mint for Strengthening instead of the Blackcurrant for Blonde Hair pictured on the Bag. I'm that one freak that loves the smell of Tea Tree though, so I'm by no means displeased with the alternate Masque inclusion.
I'm also happy with the full size Viviscal Gorgeous Growth Densifying Shampoo and the Garnier Fructis Full & Luscious Volume Booster Texturising Spray, as I always welcome products designed to inject volume into my fine hair.
There were also various vouchers to redeem for products and some for discounts off products, all with short redeeming dates, so I must remember to get in-store soon if I want to use any of them (not pictured, because I forgot).
The mini dry shampoos will come in handy for travelling, and all up, I'm happy with everything except the Colour Addict Spray In Hair Chalk, because I got BLUE. Not a nice, light pastel blue, but hardcore Marge Simpson blue. Haha, you can't win them all!
Don't forget to enter my Valentine's Day Beauty Giveaway on Facebook, it ends 22 February at midnight!

Did you get the HairCare Gift Bag this time? What do you think of it?
This is such a good bag. My mum is a priceline bag addict but she managed to resist buying it this time, which is a rarity. Usually she gets them and I get the offcasts.
ReplyDeleteHaha that's a good benefit of your Mum being a Priceline bag addict. There's so much in it you can definitely share the contents around :)
DeleteI also grabbed this bag, I thought there were heaps of goodies stuffed into it this time! Might as well grab it if your going to be using the products you purchased to qualify anyway, I have so much dry shampoo at the moment that I stocked up on hairspray, shampoo and conditioner! Let us know what you think of the Batiste volumising dry shampoo, I haven't tried that one yet!
ReplyDeleteKez | acaciasdreams.com
That's what I thought too! Yes that Batiste XXL Volume dry shampoo is my fave dry shampoo ever (but sometimes I get other ones just for a change) - it's really good for providing volume, plus it does what dry shampoo is supposed to :)
DeleteWow so much dry shampoo hahaha I was so close to picking this up, but I never really do much with my hair, so I couldn't justify having a cupboard full of haircare...
ReplyDeleteLaura || www.thelifeoflaura.com.au
LOL yes I may have a problem re the dry shampoo. Probs good you saved your money in that case - now you can spend it on makeup instead!
DeleteSUCH good value!! I always say I am gonna get it but don't!
ReplyDeleteHaha! I'm the other way around; I always say I won't get it then do. Baha!
DeleteI mainly use Lush on my hair but I'd definitely be interested for the dry shampoo!
ReplyDeleteI'm a dry shampoo freak. So many goodies to try in the bag too!
DeleteLooks like a fabulous goodie bag!! I don't take care of my hair as much as I should
ReplyDeleteMe either hence all the dry shampoo. I should put some water on it once in a while lol
DeleteThey're so generous with their gift with purchase bags! I've tried the purple shampoo and conditioner so far and its so good!
ReplyDeleteOh yay, I can't wait to try those!
DeleteSuch a good deal that Priceline did! Have you used the Garnier Fructis Full & Luscious Volume Booster Texturising Spray before? My hair lacks volume at the crown.
ReplyDeleteBella | www.digyhu.com
No I haven't Bella! Can't wait to give it a go as my hair is flat too :)
DeleteIt really is such a generous gift with purchase! Great run down :)
ReplyDeleteEmma | Rosy Disposition

DeleteYou and i have the same hair type....blonde and fine.
ReplyDeleteI was very happy with my bag and was lucky enough to get the pink hair chalk which will be fun for parties and things like halloween
Having fine hair sucks doesn't it? I'm always trying to stop it laying flat lol. Yay that you got the pink hair chalk though!
DeleteWow, what an amazing selection of products!

Thanks for reading Sofia! xx
DeleteOh I didn't see this when I was in store recently, would have got it. Like you I think if you go through lots of something anyway it makes sense to stock up when there's a sale or a special offer! :)
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a wonderful week :)
Away From The Blue Blog
Yeah the store I went to didn't have them visible either, I had to ask for it! Have a lovely weekend Mica! :)
DeleteI'm not sure you have enough dry shampoo. :P
ReplyDeleteHaha, I practically live in dry shampoo too, so I know how you feel! And the bag was excellent value. I'm staying clear as I'm pretty well stocked on all things hair at the moment (though I could always use more dry shampoo), and I'm just out of storage space!
Dry shampoo sisters unite! LOL. OMG I'm out of storage space too. It's ridiculous! :)
