Holy Cannoli, Adelaide!

Hi guys! Recently I had the opportunity to sample some delicious cannoli* from Holy Cannoli, a local Adelaide business, and today I'm here to tell you all about it! I love supporting local companies, and Holy Cannoli is a brand new venture owned and run by Emmalee, a Lawyer, and Nick, a Chef, who have a passion for all things Italian and delicious. Emmalee has Italian heritage so these recipes have been lovingly passed down through her family for generations. Emmalee and Nick make the desserts together and have recently had to buy a new fridge to keep up with the demand! Look out for the official launch of Holy Cannoli, coming at the end of August.

Holy Cannoli's vision is to take the old Nonna classics and bring them into 2018. (Just don't tell Nonna!).

I shared a box of Cannoli with my husband, and I can say we both thoroughly enjoyed these Italian treats! It's not hard to work out why these are their best sellers! The cannoli are filled with whipped ricotta, with the light, flaky pastry coated in sugar and the ends rolled in chopped pistachios and a Tim Tam Crumb. The combination of flavours works so well together. It provides just the right amount of sweetness and you're left with a mouthful of light, fluffy deliciousness! I'd highly recommend giving these cannoli's a go, they're so yummy!

Holy Cannoli also make two other dessert lines; creamy White Chocolate and Vanilla Galliano Pannacotta and their version of the classic Tiramisu which features a tempered chocolate dome. I didn't try those two, but they sound absolutely amazing and the prices are really affordable too. Cannoli are just $2.50, with Tiramisu at $4.00 and Pannacotta at $5.00.

Do yourself a favour and check out the goodness on their Facebook page or Instagram, and if you'd like to place an order, it's just a matter of sending an Instagram DM. I've met Emmalee and she is super friendly, so these guys will look after you and your tastebuds!

  3. These sound amazing and look so pretty. Despite baking as much as I do, I rarely eat anything sweet, but these look good enough to make an exception.

  14. Wow. I have not had a cannoli since I left Sydney. There was a place in a local shopping mall where you could buy them freshly filled and I would get a small ricotta and a small chocolate. With coffee. YUM. These look next level!! Oh and I only liked them crisp! Denyse x
