Adelaide Event: Cinnamon Club Sunday Feast!

Cinnamon Club
179 King William Road
Hyde Park
SA 5061

Hi guys! Recently I was lucky enough to attend a delightful Sunday Feast at the Cinnamon Club's new Hyde Park restaurant! It was a wonderful afternoon filled with delicious Indian food, great wine and lovely company. I really enjoyed meeting fellow food bloggers who I'd been interacting with on Instagram but had never met in person! If you haven't checked out the new restaurant yet, I suggest you hop to it, you won't be disappointed!

The Cinnamon Club already has two established Indian restaurants located at Henley Beach and Norwood. They have won multiple food awards including Best Indian Food from The Advertiser and Best New Restaurant in the Awards for Excellence, and after sampling their delicious fare last Sunday, I can see why! The restaurant features many brightly coloured wall paintings that provide a cheerful and cultural experience during your dining adventure.

FOOD
I found the food served during our Sunday Feast to be mouth-wateringly delicious. Each dish was bursting with big, authentic Indian flavours that felt like a party in my mouth! The samosas were crispy little pockets of goodness and the array of naan breads had me on a foodie high! Each sauce was packed with flavour and the combination of flavours worked like a dream.

The range of dishes available at The Cinnamon Club is certainly impressive, with choices to suit all tastes. The dishes include Hara Bhara Kebab, Veg Samosa and Pakosa, Tandoori Chicken Tikka, Murgh Malai Tikka, Cheese Naan, Garlic Naan and Cottage Cheese and Spinach Dumplings ~ they were all coming out on platters. Some of the larger dishes included Beef Vindaloo, Saag, Vegetarian Platter, Four Faces of Vindaloo, Biryani and Masala Dosa.

WINES
A special mention goes to the wines provided on the day by The Lanes Vineyard, located in the Adelaide Hills. I love supporting local businesses and after thoroughly enjoying The Lane Vineyard Block 10 Sauvignon Blanc with its vibrant citrussy flavour and clean finish, I'll definitely be seeking out their wines in the future. I also had a glass of their red, which was high quality and delicious, matching perfecting with the food on offer.

SERVICE
The staff were friendly and attentive, happily posing for photos and positioning the platters so all of us food bloggers could snap away at the gorgeous food!

FUN FACT!
The Hyde Park restaurant also has a Function Room perfect for your next event.

HOT TIP!
Be sure to check out the delightful wall paintings next to the toilets, they're so colourful and beautiful!

Thanks so much to The Cinnamon Club and Mercy Me Marketing for putting together such a fabulous afternoon filled with fun, new friends, fabulous Indian food and fantastic local wines!

  8. That was a visual feast too. I am not a fan of anything as exotic as this to eat but the colours and textures looked amazing. I imagine the aroma was great too.
