Red Hot Mani!
I'd been wanting to do a Red Hot Manicure for some time, and it took all my strength not to add some kind of glitter top coat! With so many glitter polishes in varying shapes, sizes and colours (including several multi-coloured bottles) combined with a severe Glitter Obsession, I think I displayed enormous courage and restraint in keeping this mani glitter-free. Pretty sure my next one will resemble a fucking Christmas Tree!
Products Used:
Bourjois 1 Seconde Gel Texture Nail Enamel in Rouge
Max Factor Nailfinity Glossy Top Coat
Disclaimer: Bourjois was won by me and Max Factor I paid for.

Thanks Laura! Gel polish is pretty easy to work with :)
DeleteLooks so hot! Love the vibrant shade :)
ReplyDeleteAi @ Sakura Haruka
Thanks! It was a fun mani to do and turned out quite well :)
DeleteThey are some hot looking nails!
ReplyDeleteAnd the red has made me feel more fearless this week, too! Bonus! :)
DeleteOh, that looks great - I am a hardcore glitter addict and am currently trying to wean myself off using it all the time, especially as it is so freaking hard to take off! Your blog looks interesting, am going to follow :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome, thanks so much! I agree - someone needs to invent a hardcore remover specifically for glitter polishes. Takes forever to get the glorious stuff off! LOL
DeleteGorgeous! My nails are disgusting right now but I love me a good mani and pedi. That red is hot!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I had to do a fair bit of prep to get them the same length and shape beforehand. I'd been putting it off for ages, lol.
DeleteI love it, looks brilliant! I love glitter too but I do wear red a lot too. I've never tried a gel finish- are they difficult to take off? Tell me as I'm tempted to try it.
ReplyDeleteNo problems whatsoever removing this (wasn't sure so just removed it off 1 nail just then lol). I don't think its the same Gel that you get in a Nail Salon then - they are meant to last 2 weeks longer than normal polish yet this one has started chipping after a few days (applied the polish a few days before writing the post).
