The Beauty Loop boxes are out! And thanks to my yet-to-be-blogged impressive Mecca Maxima haulage during my Melbourne trip, I've progressed from Level 1 to Level 2. Hooray! The boxes were compiled a little differently this time. The products included are all Mecca staff secret ballot winners from the Mecca Beauty Election 2016. Which if you ask me, is far more exciting than the Australian political election, despite the complete lack of anything even vaguely sausage-related. The in-store beauty experts voted for their most-loved beauty products, then four of their 'cult favourites, must-haves and new finds' have been included in each box.
The included card details all the winning products, then you can see how you went in terms of which four products you scored in your box. I've had a read of the card and am quite happy with what I got. Let's have a look!
~ Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Ultra Gentle Daily Peel
~ By Terry Terrybly Densiliss Primer
~ Darphin Exquisage Beauty Cream
~ Urban Decay Seven Days of Shadows
I haven't tried anything from Darphin or By Terry, so I'm quite excited to give the beauty cream and primer a go. I'll probably test out the two step daily peel pads by Dr Dennis Gross on the weekend, when I have more time. The Urban Decay eyeshadow sampler box is pretty cute! Here's what's included:
~ Anti-Aging Eyeshadow Primer
~ Seven eyeshadow shades: Desperation, Flash, Mildew, Foxy, Cosmic Moondust, Solstice Moondust, Zodiac Moondust.
If you want to see what was in my last Beauty Loop Box, a Level 1, you can check out that post here.

What did you get in your box? If you've blogged about it, link it up in the comments below. I'd love to have a read!
A great box! The shadows look cool!
ReplyDeleteMy online order and box got carded when I went to get my eldest from kindy this afternoon, I'm upset I can't play with it until Monday lol
Oh no, that's the worst! Hope you score a good box on Monday though! :)
DeleteThese look fun!
ReplyDeleteYes, so much fun to be had, especially with the eyeshadows!
Deleteoh la la ! what a nice box!! 7 days of shadows got my eyes glued. I didn't spend enough money to get any loop box this year :( ahhh
ReplyDeletelilynotlouise.blogspot.com.au
Yeah, I'm most excited by the 7 Days of Shadows too! :)
DeleteWhat a great little box! I haven't spent enough money and currently on a make up no buy, so I probs won't get there anytime soon lol. Have never seen eyeshadow samples like that before. Love it! How cute.
ReplyDeleteYeah I don't think I'll be spending anything at Mecca for AGES after the damage I did in Melbs, lol.
DeleteFantastic beauty haul. Id love to know what the primer was like when you have tried it .
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm not the hugest of primer fans, but will get around to trying it soon :)
DeleteThe peel would appeal (#sorrynotsorry) to me. I've got a few blemishes on my face so when I can again properly afford it really want to look at some treatment for my skin!
ReplyDeleteI hear ya! I have blemish prone skin so I'm always trying out different clearing treatments :)
DeleteWhat a great box! My favourite is the UD shadow sampler.

Me too! It looks really exciting. Can't go past a bit of colour! xx

Thanks Sue! xx
DeleteI actually only heard of Mecca last night when an ad came on about applying makeup while watching prime7 catchup online. It looks amazing!
ReplyDelete#MummyMondays
Oh it's a beauty and makeup lovers dream Kell! :)
DeleteGreat samples! The eye shadows look good!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm most excited to try those!
DeleteLove the eyeshadow samples! I remember getting pressed ones like that in magazines and carefully stashing them away "for good", whereupon I would basically wipe them over my eyes.
ReplyDeleteHehe, keeping them 'for good' and wiping them on your eyes, love it. Come to think of it, how does one apply from the paper sample thing? lol
DeleteI love the eyeshadow samples too!
ReplyDeleteOne for each day of the week!
DeleteI love seeing the product differences in Mecca Beauty Loop boxes. I am also a level 2 member and I didn't get any of the products you did! I have used the UD 'Seven Days of Shadows' before and it was a really cool way to try new shades before investing in the palette. I couldn't agree with you more about the Mecca Beauty Election too, I will take that over a political election any day :) x
ReplyDeleteYeah, so cool the way they did it this time around! Hope you were happy with your box items Marisa!
DeleteI got the level 1 box and I think it suits me better than this level 2 box. I wonder how they decide what goes in each level.
ReplyDeleteYeah I have no idea! I've wondered the same thing. Thanks for reading Alinta! :)
DeleteI've still yet to try Urban Decay eyeshadow. I've heard it's amazing. Gotta love Mecca!
ReplyDeleteThe beauty lovers paradise!
DeleteWow this looks like an amazing box! I don't get the beauty loop boxes as I'm too poor to ever shop at Mecca hahaha! But golly this is changing my mind ;) xx
ReplyDeleteJasmine / sweetaholic-beauty.com
Haha, yeah I'm feeling a bit guilty about how much I spent now. Time for a spending ban I think! xx
DeleteThis looks like loads of fun. What a great initiative the beauty loop boxes seem to be.
ReplyDeleteYeah, and they've really improved lately too! :)
DeleteThose eye shadow shades are gorgeous Di - I've never been to Mecca, reckon I'm missing out big time! xxx
ReplyDeleteOh you would love it Kat! All the lipsticks and eyeshadows, you'd be in heaven! xxx
