Priceline 40% Off Skincare Haul!

Hello! I really wasn't going to set foot inside Priceline during their three day 40% Off Skincare, Suncare and Tanning Sale last week because I don't really need anything, and this year I want to concentrate on using up the skincare products I have. However, these sales are the best time to stock up on products I use regularly, the ones I know I'll be replacing once they run out. If I'm going to be buying my staple skincare at some point anyway, it may as well be during a 40% off sale! Here's what I got!

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water (x 2)
TN Dickinsons Witch Hazel
Swisspers Cucumber Facial Cleansing Wipes

Basically I'm lazy as hell so I bought things that remove my makeup quickly without me having to wash my face, lol. I'm not fussy with wipes, I'll try anything, and these cucumber ones sounds totes refreshing and perfect for summer. I use wipes regularly, but I ran out a while ago and somehow hadn't bought more. The Witch Hazel I've been using for a good ten years! It's cheap as heck ($3.95 after the discount) and a reliable toner, especially for problem skin. For my Micellar Water I decided to go back to the Garnier All In 1 version for all skin types (with the pink lid). I tried the green lidded version for combination to oily skin, but I didn't find it as good (even though I do have combination skin!). So back to the original we go! I got all of this for just under $25, which I'm thrilled with! Thanks, Priceline!

  1. I resisted the sale because I am in the same boat of needing to use up a lot of existing skincare! I feel like your purchases were smart though so it all balances out :)

    1. Thanks Kate! Yes I'll definitely use these things, so at least they won't just sit in the cupboard.

  3. I had to stay well away from the shopping centre those three days, I don't need anything and the temptation to just go in anyway was so strong! Haha, addicted to Priceline!

  5. Haha I love your reasons for buying these - "I'm lazy and need something to remove make up quickly"

I only picked up a couple of things, I didn't really need anything, so I just stocked up on a few favourites!

  7. Oh I missed the sale because we don't live near a Priceline! But my niece has a part-time job there and I should have asked her to nab me some specials. I am a huge witch hazel fan, and now that my kids are teens I am trying to convince them they don't need all the fancy expensive products with additives - a little witch hazel is one of the best cleansers you can use.

  8. That was a cracker of a sale wasn't it? I got splurged on a few packs of the L'Oreal make up wipes because when it comes to taking make up off, I am the ultimate lazy girl. I also got some of my Olay nite cream (because old lady!) for a steal. Gee, I love Priceline!

  15. I initially thought about skipping it this time around, but decided I needed to stock up on favourites in case I ran out before the next one in July, so I went & blew my small budget on my usual cleanser, moisturiser, lip balm & several Lanolips hand creams. I was tempted to pick up Trilogy's Make Up Be Gone Cleansing Balm, but the jar is tiny & I couldn't justify the price, even at 40% off. I did enable someone else to buy the SugarBaby scrub I picked up at the last sale though lol.

    1. Haha, enabling is the best! Sounds like you picked up quite a few goodies Shell, glad you made good use of the sale. I really need to get into hand creams more, I can never be bothered lol.

  23. Such restraint Di, I'm impressed. I wasn't going to indulge either, but there were a few items that I simply couldn't resist because the price was just SO good. I ordered online, so the parcel won't arrive for a while, but that's something I can look forward to xxx

  24. Ah seeing posts like this make me so jealous, I stayed away this time around too as I have so much skincare that needs to be used up. I do love that micellar water too though, and I grabbed a new bottle last time Priceline did the skincare bag so it'll last me a good while yet. Nice little haul you got though!
